I write on cultivating faith and resilience in the wake of personal, mass, and humanitarian disasters. My writing applies what I’ve learned from studying and helping people and churches around the globe through crises. I also draw from my own Hurricane Katrina and cancer disaster experiences. Regardless the topic, my goal is to write accessible theologically and scientifically informed pieces. On occasion I write lighthearted pieces on pop culture happenings to reach people that might not otherwise engage with a story about disasters or personal crises. You can check out my articles below. Oh, and I write a lot of technical scholarly research too.
